I WILL NEVER QUIT
I WILL GET BACK UP
I AM NEVER OUT OF THE FIGHT
MY TRAINING IS NEVER COMPLETE
I WILL NOT FAIL
These declarations are the all-caps words from The Well Creed. It’s the mantra of disciples who are

making disciples who are making disciples who are making disciples. It is a reminder that being a disciple isn’t about a state of perfection. Disciples are simply people-in-process who are still learning and growing and pushing forward. Each morning you wake up is another opportunity to know the Father, become like the Son and participate in the work of the Holy Spirit. You know the Father by spending time reading the Bible, praying and cultivating a relationship with the Creator of the world. You become like the Son through obedience to His message and what you read in the Bible, which means you are actually progressively surrendering every area of your life to Christ. You participate in the work of the Holy Spirit by being intentional with people – seeing people and choosing to love people everywhere you go. Each new temptation or trial is an opportunity to become more utterly reliant on God. When circumstances are out of control, it is a reminder that God alone is in control and that He alone is perfectly trustworthy. Each Bible study, conference or training you attend through The Well is an opportunity to begin putting into practice the discipleship principles you’re exposed to, recognizing that you never spiritually “arrive” on this side of heaven and that there is alwaysalways more to learn. So if you have quit, get back up. If you are in the trenches taking grenades, stay in the fight. If you have stopped training, sign up for a Bible study or even take advantage of the opportunity still at hand to attend the Reclaiming the Gospel conference on February 17th. We are called to be disciples and disciple makers. The call has nothing to do with being perfect. It’s simply about following in the footsteps of the greatest Teacher there ever was – Jesus Christ. Let the all-caps of this creed become your mantra, too. You are UNSTOPPABLE, unless you choose to stop. You will not fail, if you choose to never quit.
